02/14/25 Bulldog Families, It was a fun day back at the Elementary! This afternoon specials teachers provided fun rotations and support staff served as guides taking groups to craft, story and game stations. Classroom teachers followed with classroom celebrations. See everyone at Pup Squad tonight! Pup Squad Pup Squad is still on! Our Elementary Pup Squad will perform during halftime of the Varsity Girls’ basketball game TONIGHT! Pup Squad will meet in the high school commons at 5:30pm this evening in the high school commons to go over their routine for this evening. The pup squad shirts are coming home with students today, so please check your student’s backpack for those. Go Bulldogs! AMI Attendance: If you forgot to send AMI Day #1 & #2 packets back today, make sure that they come back on Tuesday! The weather looks very cold next week. Please be sure to send coats, hats and gloves next week. According to the weather forecast, we may be in for a few more days of snow! We have completed AMI days #1 and #2. In the event that additional AMI day is announced, please have students work on day 3 and so on, if additional days are needed. If a student does not return the assigned AMI work, they will be counted absent for that day. Bus 2 has experienced an issue this morning. Another bus is on the way but pickups will be late. Students will not be counted tardy this morning.

Good news! Roads have improved and we plan to be in session tomorrow. Route 3 stops will be altered. Stops/approx times: 7:00 SW 200 Rd & SW 250 Rd stop Dains Fish Farm 7:05 Taberville Square 7:20 NW 100 Rd, 400 Rd, 500 Rd, 650 Rd & 1001 Rd stop at H&B Hwy Buses may run behind to ensure student safety. Take it slow!

Due to current road conditions along with refreezing of roads tonight, school will not be in session tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th. This will be AMI Day #2. Please complete Day 2 activities and bring completed work back to school upon return. Stay safe and warm, Bulldogs. We will see you soon.

𝕊𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕣 𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕥𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 Congratulations to ACHS Senior, Sam Setzer. Sam has been accepted to Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) in Springfield, MO. While at Ozarks Tech, he will complete his general education requirements, focusing on agriculture business and marketing. Due to freezing rain this evening and forecasted snowfall during the morning commute tomorrow, AC Schools will not be in session Wednesday, Feb. 12th. This will be an AMI Day. Please complete AMI Day #1 packets and bring to school upon return. If you have any questions, contact your child's teacher or the office.

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office was on campus today with their K-9. We did go on a soft lockdown to keep students out of hallways while K-9's were working. At no time was there a threat within the building. Thank you to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office for their work today!

Not the way we imagined our Tuesday to start! If you noticed a flurry of activity and some fire trucks behind school this morning, the Pre-K trailer experienced an electrical issue. Everyone is safe and we are so thankful! A huge shout-out to the AC Fire Department for their quick response and finding the issue!

Just a reminder, school is in session tomorrow, Monday, February 10th. This will be a snow make up day.

Here's our Bulldog Friday Update!

This morning the sophomore class toured the Clinton Technical School (CTS) in Clinton, Mo. CTS offers ACHS juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn about Automative Technology, Building Trades, Computer Networking and Repair, EMT, Health Services, Machine Tool Technology, and Welding. The deadline for students to apply to CTS for the 2025/26 school year is February 18th. Parents and students can contact Mrs. Ford for more information about this opportunity.

𝕊𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕣 𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕥𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 Congratulations to Braydon Litton on his acceptance to the University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg, MO.  While at UCM, Braydon plans to study music technology at the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.  Music Technology includes the study of audio engineering, music production, computer science, and sound creativity. Between muddy road conditions and the fog, bus routes were a little disrupted this morning. But we are happy to report all buses made it in safely!

Bus #2 has also experienced issues due to muddy road conditions. Another bus is on its way to pick up students. Students will be late to school but will not be counted tardy.

Bus #3 is running behind this morning due to muddy roads and foggy conditions.

𝕊𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕣 𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕥𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 Jared Davis has been accepted to Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) in Springfield, MO. While at Ozarks Tech Jared will study to become an Electrical Technician and develop the skills needed to build and maintain electronic devices and equipment. Unfortunately, Bus #3 is experiences some issues. School staff are in route and will be transporting children home in our school vans.

01/24/25 Bulldog Families, Happy Courtwarming Day! Thank you to our High School Cheer Team for joining our Morning Assembly to cheer on the Bulldogs! We would love to have our fans at the games this evening. Mr. Bolte did ask that elementary students stay out of the commons this evening as it is decorated for the courtwarming dance. Mrs. Meka Bauer Pup Squad Pup Squad sign ups went home this week! Our Elementary Pup Squad will perform during halftime of the Varsity Girls’ basketball game on February 14th. Pup Squad will practice after school on February 11th, 12th and 13th until 5:00pm. The Pup Squad sign up deadline is Friday, January 31st. Yearbooks We do now have 2023 - 2024 Elementary yearbooks on hand in the office for $8 each. Illness Alert! The Missouri Department of Health has issued an Illness Alert due to Norovirus, “winter vomiting bug”. We did see an increase in illness this week. Please continue to take precautions.
