ACHS Senior Conner Leonard is pursuing an electrical career. Conner is actively researching apprenticeship and training programs while also considering other avenues. Although Conner isn’t quite sure what his path after graduation will be, he is making steady progress towards a bright future. We’re proud of you, Conner, and we know you’ll do great things.

MAP Testing begins today for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. We will be testing each morning through next Friday, April 28th.

In order to do your best on the test, please do your best to get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time and ready for the day! We know you will do great and we are proud of each one of you!


Mrs. Ford took the Junior class for a tour of the Fort Scott Community College campus on Friday. Students were able to visit with college professionals and FSCC students about programs offered.




Just a reminder, the April Board of Education meeting is Tuesday, April 18th. This is a change from our normal Wednesday meetings due to the reorganization of members due to the election.

ACHS Senior Camden Farrar has decided to become a lineman. Camden has been accepted to Northwest Lineman College (NLC) in Denton, TX and he is also considering a local apprenticeship program. Camden’s future is looking bright! Congratulations, Camden.

Our 6th graders traveled to Jefferson City yesterday and toured the Capitol building. They even got a surprise visit from Governor Parsons!

Come join us for a Community Spotlight Night event! We will start holding these community nights quarterly each school year in an effort to get the public more engaged and aware of what is happening within our District.
Our first event will be April 26th at 5:30 in the High School Commons. The Agriculture Department will begin with a presentation highlighting their program. Following the presentation, Superintendent Sarah Miller will give updates on the District including improvements and financial information.
Anyone in the community is welcome to attend. Come see all the great things happening at ACR2!


Today AC High School we will be having a mock car accident simulation on the west entrance at approximately 1:30. First responders and emergency vehicles will be involved. This is only a simulation if you see emergency vehicles at the school at this time.

AC HIGH SCHOOL DOCUDRAMA APRIL 5th.


Our AC sophomores and juniors participated in a REALL simulation today. This simulation is an interactive experience that demonstrates adult life situations. Thank you to the West Central Missouri Community Action Agency and all our community volunteers that helped today.
