Elementary Bulldog Families,
Happy Valentine’s Day weekend! Students and staff had a fun day today. Thank you so much for helping us spoil our kids. We do a great job through the year of providing students with healthy snacks at school so our students really appreciate both the fun and food that comes with our holiday celebrations! We are tired but the joy in their eyes is worth every minute and every grain of sugar consumed! I will post some pictures later this weekend.

A group of ACHS juniors and seniors traveled to Montrose High School today to learn about the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEW Local 53. Thank you, Mrs. Vogel, for coordinating this informative discussion.

We have ended a fun Court Warming Spirit Week with some lovely weather! Come out tonight and cheer on the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs. I hope that all of our bulldog families have a delightful weekend. Be sure to keep that AMI packet close though, you just never know what might happen with our Missouri weather. My vote is –bring on Spring–no more snow!

We have had a great two days of learning! It’s always difficult to transition back from a very long weekend due to snow days, but our teachers and students have packed so much learning into these two days! Please remember to have your ID with you if you come to pick up your child early in the coming weeks as Mrs. Amy Oaks continues to learn names and faces while subbing for Mrs. Malia.
**Important** If you have not already done so, please return all AMI Day 1 work no later than Tuesday, February 3rd. Attendance for our AMI day this week will then be posted.

Due to secondary road conditions and some issues with frozen pipes, Appleton City will not be in session tomorrow, January 28th.
This will be our first AMI Day, so please complete activities labeled AMI Day 1 and bring back to school upon return.

Due to poor road conditions, Appleton City Schools will not be in session tomorrow, January 27,, 2026. We have one snow day built into the calendar, so this will be a traditional snow day and NOT an AMI Day.

High School students visited with a recruiter from Crowder College during lunch today and a group of students traveled to Missouri State University in Springfield on Wednesday.
