What are the dates of Summer School? Tuesday, May 24th through Monday, June 27th
(No School on Memorial Day, May 30th)
Is Summer School 5 days per week? Yes
What time does Summer School start and dismiss? Summer School is from 8:00am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Are breakfasts and lunches provided? Yes, and doors open at 7:30am for students to eat breakfast.
Is bus transportation provided? Yes, bus routes are being planned now and will be communicated to parents prior to the start of Summer School.
Is there homework? No
What will my child(ren) do each day? In the morning, students will work on reading, language arts, math, science and social studies. After lunch, students will explore “block” courses designed for each as group such as: Adventures in my Own Backyard, Camp K, The science of Super Powers, Launch into Rockets, Air Time, Dirt Camp, Pirate Camp, Unleash Your Wild Side, Claymation, Snack Attach, Flight and Aerodynamics, Rocket Junior, Retro Recreation, Sports Clip Junior, Classroom Cooks, Blocksmith Camp, Rockets Plus, Eggs-traodinary Physics, Drone Designers, 60 seconds or less.
What are the attendance incentives? Students who have perfect attendance receive $100 each! Student who miss up to 1 day receive $75 each and students who miss up to 2 days receive $50 each.
